Job Description: Senior Program Coordinator

The Center provides a unique day program for developmentally disabled adults —a place to go when they age out of the public high school system. Following a trend away from institutional settings, this Center provides a loving and positive environment where clients can continue to grow while maintaining strong ties to their home and community.

Senior Program Coordinator duties include:

  • Assist with the development of Twin Palms programs
  • Prepares reports on program activities
  • Maintain proper records on participants attendance
  • Completes incident and behavior reports as needed
  • Work within predetermined class schedules
  • Assist with chores and maintaining a clean Center
  • Chaperone field trips
  • Drive van to transport clients to field trips
  • Ensure that van is clean and gas tank is full and ready to go
  • Assist clients with preparing for daily departure
  • Maintain proper records for employees and clients
  • Assist in the preparation of fundraising activities
  • Assist with grant writing on an as needed basis
  • In director’s absence, supervise all activities

Skills Required:

  • LPN Nursing degree (current), 1-3 years’ experience working with the developmentally disabled adult population
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, Internet and Email savvy. Website development ability desired, but not required.
  • Knowledgeable about AHCA policies inspections/re-licensing
  • Certification in all AHCA required Provider Training

Salary Range: Based on Experience. Any employment offers are subject to satisfactory completion of a background check. Health Insurance is Not Provided.
